Joel has been married to his wife Andrea for eight years and they have two young children, Kalea Rose and Jacob Johnston (J.J.). Joel and Andrea met in Toronto where Joel was studying theology at Tyndale College. He served as a youth minister for four years and has worked as an Employment and Education Consultant for two federally funded youth programs. Serena is a cheerful, talkative and enthusiastic individual who is full of life. She was born and raised in Hong Kong and has lived in Mississauga during her time in Canada. At the age of 15 after volunteering at a children's adventure camp she discovered a gift and passion for working with children. Her dream was to become a teacher and help transform the lives of children. She attained her Undergraduate Honors degree in Education at York University. During her spare time, Serena enjoys going to the gym, reading, spending time with her friends and her little peach-faced lovebird. That’s right a peach-faced lovebird…..

Tim was born in Olathe, Kansas and has lived in Missouri , Winnipeg , Oakville and now Mississauga (to name a few places). He met his wife Candace when they were in high school through their youth worship team. They have been married for over a year a half and though they don’t have children yet, they do have a seven month old Weimaraner puppy named Duke. They enjoy spending time with Duke at the Dog Park and relaxing at home. Tim is usually found with a guitar in his hands, writing new songs or just jamming with the stereo. Tim is also an avid Raptors fan and loves to play the game of basketball.
